Part-Time Admin Assistant

Come join our studio with a willingness to learn and add your cheerful spirit to our team!   This position will require a person who enjoys administrative and office support activities and who will work well with the studio owner.

Daily people skills may include fielding telephone calls, greeting and assisting visitors and clients. Additional activities will include word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations and maintaining important database records. Extensive software skills, Internet research abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as any image manipulation software program to do minor edits, are desired.

Additional areas in which the person in this position will shine are helping support e-newsletter creation, event planning/coordinating and creating or updating presentation files. If skilled, support person may be requested to monitor event activity and post content for organization’s social media channels.

Hours may be flexible as work is expected to be a combination of virtual and in-person. For the right candidate, there is potential for growth and increase in the number of hours required by the position. Having an interest in fitness — especially Pilates would be helpful but not required.

The position will initially require 5 hours/week, including at least (1) day in the Studio (Mon., Tues. or Thurs. 11a-2p.m.)
Compensation: Starting at $12.50-$15.50/Hour depending on level of experience and computer skills.

Certified Pilates Teacher

Are you passionate about teaching others Pilates?  Do you love developing a movement practice for yourself and for others?  We are looking for you!  Seeking teachers who are highly motivated, knowledgeable and ready to be a part of our studio community. Part-time positions available to teach private, semi-private, group equipment and group mat or fitness classes.  We are looking for individuals who are

  • Dedicated to teaching the mindful aspect of the method, and responsible for guiding individuals through an invigorating session.
  • Develops safe, professional and comprehensive Pilates training programs to ensure clients are continually motivated to attain their personal fitness goals.
  • Committed to educating clients, so that they can deepen their workouts and achieve results.
  • Utilizing knowledge and diverse background; pursuing continuing education to stay updated in our industry, providing clients the best possible experience.

Requirements:
• Certified on Pilates equipment, PMA approved Pilates certification
• One year Pilates instruction (Mat and Reformer) experience is preferred
• Current CPR Certification
• Must have Individual Liability Insurance
• A minimum of 5 hours of availability per week, including weekend, weekday early morning or evening.
• A great attitude, love of Pilates and eagerness to develop your teaching skills
